SUPERNATURAL FAITH - Bishop David Oyedepo

As we change levels and enter into new phases in life, adversities and challenges will arise. 1 Corinthians 16.9 states that ‘ A great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries’. Faith is needed to overcome them all. If faith is the shield with which we quench the fiery darts of the wicked, then without it we are open to any and everything. Where is your faith? Luke 8.22-25 tells of the Jesus and the disciples crossing a lake in a boat when they get caught in a storm. Jesus, who was asleep at this point, was woken up by the panicked disciples. He gets up, rebukes the wind and raging waters and immediate calm is established. Next, he asks the disciples ‘ Where is your faith?’ To sail through challenges and get to where we want to be, we need supernatural faith. No one can cross over to the other side without faith. It is in fact a requirement for just living, as stated in Habakkuk 2.4 – ‘ the just shall live by faith’ . This is again repeated 3 other t

THE FORCE OF HOPE - Pastor Faith Oyedepo

Job 14.7: There is hope of a tree if it be cut down, that it will sprout again and that the tender branch thereof will not cease . Isaiah 43.19: Behold, I will do a new thing. It shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness.  Threats of sickness and strange disease, rising unemployment and failing global economies is enough to make life look hopeless to many, but that is not us as believers. 2Timothy 3.1 states the last days will be perilous, so it’s part of the agenda. However, the good news is that though all these have been prophesied, it is not stated anyplace that it will be part of our lives. Psalm 91.7 assures us that ‘ A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand BUT it will not come near you’ . When things happen state to yourself: I am not among. My name is not there. It shall not be my case. There may not be hope for others, but there is hope for me. No matter the current appearance of things, there is h

THE FORCE OF THANKSGIVING AND PRAISE - Pastor David Abioye

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Psa 100.1-4. Praise ought to be a lifestyle, not a now-and-then indulgence and all the benefits go to us solely. In Psalm 114 verses 1-5, we see every obstacle in the path of Israel was cleared by praise. Also, levels change as our praises go up.  In Acts 2.47, the church increased as they praised God. We should let not even a single day pass without praising God – any day without thanksgiving is a wasted one. I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34.1 David loved to praise God, and it was always in his hear; Jesus was an addicted thanks-giver as well (see: Luke 10.21, John 6.11, John 11.41); every epistle of Paul began with thanksgiving. Likewise, we too should FIND REASONS to thank

THE FORCE OF LOVE - Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr.

We show our love for God by: Ø   Keeping God’s commandment. John 14.21 says ‘ He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me’ (Hebrews  12.2). Jesus is the perfect example of the way we should love God – he, for the joy set before him, endured the pain and shame of the cross (Hebrews 12.2). He sought always to follow God’s will (John 5.30), and please Him (John 8.29). As believers, we are to passionately follow divine commandments, and if we don’t, it means we don’t love Him. Ø   Living a Kingdom-priority lifestyle. Matthew 6.33 speaks of making God number one in every single thing. To love Him is not just to have affection for Him, but to ‘have greater’ for Him than anything else in our lives. God-lovers show the following trademarks: 1)       You will love His Word. Case in study is David, a man whose heart was after God. 1 Sam 13.14. ‘O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mi

THE FORCE OF DIVINE GUIDANCE - Bishop Thomas Aremu

Read: Psalm 23.1-6. The baseline for lack & want in life is an absence of divine guidance. Of a certainty, we want for nothing if God is our Shepherd simply because He is the creator of all things material. Divine guidance is allowing God to have the final say in the running of your life and destiny. – the whats, the wheres and the hows at every step. ‘ Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them’ - Isaiah 48.6 . God has new things planned for believers, but these are hidden, and are unfolded by His guidance. The path God leads along is where your blessings will unfold. We are designed to be wonderful, and will be if we stay in the centre of His will. Isaiah 30.1-3 speaks of the effects of the Israelites acting on their own wisdom; the men to whom they looked for help would ultimately disappoint them, with both helper and the ‘helped’ failing. Proverbs 16.25 will

THE FORCE OF JOY - Pastor Faith Oyedepo

‘ Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold all things are become new’ - 2Corinthians 5.17 ‘Therefore with JOY shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation’ - Isaiah 12.3. God does new things for us every day, every month, every year. Lamentations 3.21 says God’s mercies are new every morning. Revelations 22.2 speaks of fruits yielded every month from the tree of life. To partake of the new era, we must be armed with certain launching pads, one of which is Joy. The spirit of Joy enables us to enjoy new things continually, therefore know that whatsoever attempts to steal your joy is attempting to steal your destiny. Joy is a choice not a gift, so choose to be joyful and the devil will respect that decision. Rejoice in the Lord, and not in the appearance of circumstances. ‘ Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat;

THE FORCE OF SACRIFICE - Pastor David Abioye

‘When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.   Psalm 126.1-6  Sacrifice is a God-ordained gateway to the realm of new dawn. Offering may open doors to you but sacrifice compels gates to open continually, and allows you to receive blessings that can’t pass through doors. Isaiah 60.10-11 tells of ‘ strangers building you up, kings ministering to you, … gates being continually open to you that shall NOT be shut, that men may bring to you’ . By definition, a sacrifice is given at a cost (quality) so it’s not ab

THE FORCE OF KINGDOM ADVANCEMENT ENDEAVOURS - Pastor David Abioye

As believers we must accept responsibility for every prophetic word to become a reality in our lives. Psalm 103.7 says that God made known his ways to Moses to produce his acts unto the children of Israel, therefore behind every act is a way. Kingdom advancement is putting God first in all affairs as a lifestyle. We are called to ‘ seek first the kingdom of God’ - Matthew 6.33; by seeking one thing, we gain everything else. There are kings in the old testament who put God first, and their legacies live on till today. David’s first task on being crowned King of all Israel was to bring the Ark back to Israel (2Samuel 5.6). Solomon raised an alter to God after his coronation (1Kings 3.4-9) and offered a thousand bulls. And God visited him. Hezekiah got to the throne and in the first month of the first year of his reign (2Chronicles 29.3) opened the temple and repaired it, as his first assignment. Kingdom advancement is serving God with all that you have – your hea

THE FORCE OF FAITH - Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr.

By salvation through Christ, we are made new (2Corinthians 5.17). However, without faith, it is impossible to access our new dawn heritage. In Luke 1.45 we are told ‘ And blessed is she that believed; for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord’. Mark 9.23 likewise states that ‘ all things are possible to him that believes’. This means it is the individual who continually operates in faith that will continue changing levels. However, in the last days, faith shall be under siege (Luke 18.38) so it is important we know how to build up our faith so we can secure our heritage. Why is faith so important to accessing the new dawn era? It takes faith to actualize our new dawn heritage in redemption. Proverbs 4.18 says the path of the just is to be as a shining light that shines more and more unto the perfect day – ours is a heritage of continuous new dawns. But for that to be our experience, we must operate by faith; Romans 1.17, Hebrews 1

THE FORCE OF OBEDIENCE - Bishop Thomas Aremu

Read: Deuteronomy Chapter 28 . Verses 1-14 of Deuteronomy 28 gives a detailed account of blessings due to us when we obey God. Abraham, without delay responded to divine instruction to: ·          leave his childhood home behind and travel to an unfamiliar place (Genesis 12.4), ·          circumcise all males, including adults (Genesis 17.23), and ·          sacrifice his only son by Sarah (Genesis 22.3).  Abraham’s obedience impacted on generations that were to come, and is still blessing us today (Genesis 22.18). Jesus’ first miracles were based on obedience – at the wedding in Cana, the servants filling the purification jars with water, and again the nobleman whose son was healed (John 4.50,53). Disobedience allows the devil take control of your life by giving him a foothold from which he will plague you (James 4.7-8). Verses 15-68 of Deuteronomy 28 detail the blessing-reversals (and then some additional curses) that come on those who forsake His comman

Shiloh 2017 - A New Dawn

Earlier this month, I joined Shiloh 2017 live online. I learned so much from the teachings on Accessing The Realms of a New Dawn all through that week, and I want to share this with as many people as possible (hence the blog). This is for the benefit of the internet-data challenged, and also anyone who doesn't have access to the teaching audios/videos. I must mention that these notes are not verbatim, so as far as it possible, I highly recommend the the videos be watched - I'll add links to the videos where I find them, so look out for that. Enjoy, and God bless!
